MIGRATION/SYSTEM ENGINEER LOG MANAGEMENT SPLUNK - UNIX - LINUX
Our Client in Zurich is seeking:
MAIN TASKS/ACTIVITIES:
- The engineer will be part of a team MIGRATING SPLUNK VERSION 4 TO VERSION 6.
- Engineer Splunk 6 components
- Build packages in Linux RPM Format
- Create and execute manual and/or automated tests
- Updated/adjust current code fragments in Bash, Python and Java
EDUCATION:
- Bsc/Msc in Computer Science or relevant working experience
- 3+ years in IT SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
- Experience working in a large enterprise
SYSTEMS/PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES/DATABASES:
- UNIX, LINUX/At least one Object Oriented Language (eg .NET, JAVA, C++, etc.)/
- LOG MANAGEMENT KNOW HOW (Splunk preferred)
- Understanding of networks, code versioning
- Experience in the area of security in general
LANGUAGES
- Very good English skills
- German is an advantage
