MIGRATION ORACLE DBA (DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an ORACLE DBA TO BE PART OF THE MIGRATION TEAM. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:

ROLE:

- Support and execute infrastructure driven application migrations from our Legacy offerings (Legacy to strategic network, DBaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Managing database migrations for complex and large scale migrations with the project team, L2 resources and ultimately application owners, managing risks and issues and managing small project plans, supporting the migration weekends.
- Managing complex database migrations
- Propose, implement systems and support enhancements and process improvements
- Constantly improve business value as well as user experience of the applications
- Work closely with the project team to identify migration strategies
- Take part of production related migration work (DRY RUN, DR TEST, LIVE MIGRATION) which will be happening on Weekends

SKILLS:

- Over 7 years of experience in Oracle DBA (Oracle RDBMS 10g - 11g, 12c)
- Strong Oracle Database migrations experience.
- Good experience with Oracle Dataguard, Oracle RMAN, Oracle RAC, Oracle OEM
- Analytical and logical
- Problem solver
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Customer and quality oriented, motivated, self-directed and driven
