Aufgaben:
Job to migrate users and applications into a new IT environment from a multitude of client site and environments. (Should have experience with migrating 300+ servers, 1-2000 users+)
Experience in data center and application server, user, and active directory migrations
Project Management Skills People Management Skills Regularly visit of different client sites throughout Germany (e.g., FFM/HAM/other German cities (~4d/m in HAM, rest is travel)
Client site applications and users are being migrated into HQ infrastructure (HAM) Mainly work onsite the end clients’ sites in Germany, can also be in Europe.
Travel expenses will be paid by Unisys.
Migration: Solid Project Management experience with sound experience in large and technically complex migration projects and environment.
Background: New platform (Exch/AD) users need to be moved into the new data centre. New laptops and workstations are being rolled out (Win 10),
Business applications to be migrated into the new central data centre (HAM) – management of the teams not the execution technically.
This is being done by the technical staff and the EUCs. Managing teams going off to collecting data on client sites.
Distributing teams, planning teams’ tasks, communicating with teams, derive measures. Proper project management with scheduling, phase planning and coordination.
This is the overall migration manager. Business applications and the EUCs will be underneath this person. EUC reporting into them. Current project phase is discovery/assessment/planning.
Technical background of migrations is a must. Mainly Microsoft, various systems and technologies/versions. Unix skills come in handy but are not required.
Very professional, senior person being able to communicate on CXO level. Run several projects in several phases in parallel. English and German fluent is a must.

Anforderungen:
Representation/Business & CXO lvl communication capable Project Management Certification a plus (Prince2/PMI/APM/IPMA/PPM)
Consolidation Migration Project experience, i.e. multiple sites being moved to a central DC.
Application and or End User Migrations Experience leading large, mixed (supplier/client) project teams
Minimum Language requirements: English C1 German B2
