Migration Manager - Contract - Basel

On behalf of our client, a renowned Pharmaceutical company in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a highly dedicated and competent Migration Manager.

This is a contract placement in Basel.
The start date is 1st of May 2015.

In this challenging contract role you will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing measures in the area of configuration, change, release management and respective processes and standards
Evaluating, recommending and implementing tools and systems for configuration management, change management and release management
Processing and implementing of change requests. Coordinating the changes during creation, testing and implementation.
Development and adjustment of the overall migration plan
Provide consultancy and guidance to the site on migration planning, feature catalogue (together with your counterpart in IT) and the migration of its content
Define schedule plan with the site and the migration lead. Support business users before and during the migration of their content
Improving the migration process and associated services. Escalate issues to and share best practices with the Project Management Office
Ensure alignment with internal partners and work with Intranet coordinators to build their knowledge

In order to be considered for this exciting role you are required to have:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
Strong experience in migration management
Project & Change management experience is a must
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluency in English, German is a plus
