Migration Centre Controller - Banking/Payments

A fantastic opportunity within a Leading Global Bank. The role is to assist with the day to day function and co-ordination of the Migration Centre activities

Issue/Query Management:
- Provide issue management for Operational users
- Ensure key blockers for the migration are tracked with the appropriate visibility
- Provide support and escalation in conjunction with other members of the Global Payments Unit (GPU) Migration

Centre Team:
- Maintain documentation critical to the Migration Centre operation
- Provide updates on issues to Floorwalkers who contact the GPU Migration Centre for an update
- Work with the existing BAU Incident Management Team to ensure that issues are understood promptly and the impact to GPU is analysed
- Ensure workarounds for issues understood and handed off to the relevant teams
- Assist with collating the necessary controls prior to tranche exit/tranche implementation
- Act as the on-site go-to point for the GPU Migration Centre
- Work with the Global Payment Ops Command Centre monitoring function to ensure any potential monitoring issues are escalated and understood promptly
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and Fix Teams to ensure that the required information is available for fix activity
- Liaise with the GPU Defect Management Team to ensure all required defect prod information is provided to ensure timely fix activity

Communications:
- Provide technical root cause and impact detail in the event that crisis/high severity incidents communications is required
- Provide reviews of proposed daily BAU comms content
- Gather appropriate MI to ensure BAU comms have accurate content
- Assist with the development and creation of Migration Centre related documentation to ensure future re-use for other payments programmes
