Our client is currently looking for a Middleware specialist to work in Brussels on a 6 month contract.
Job Description
Your role will be to set up and support a Middleware environment- patching, upgrading.
You will also be responsible to implement and support a migration.
Supporting the implementation and its relevant policies, processes and systems
Reporting on capacity and performance management.
Responsible for monitoring, and troubleshooting the environment
Continuous improvement
Provide input to the design architect of the Middleware environment
Profile
You are a freelancer
You have at least 5 years of experience
You have had a solid experience working with WebLogic Application Server
Experience with message oriented Middleware (IBM WebSphere MQ), WebSphere Application Server, or JBoss Application Server is a PLUS.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Experienced in Scripting: python, jython (WebLogic, WAS)
Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred)
Scripting in bash or Perl is a PLUS
Monitoring of Middleware environments (WebSphere Application Server, JBoss Application Server, Weblogic Application Server, WebSphere MQSeries) is a PLUS
Knowledge of deployment automation is a PLUS
Linguistic Requirements:
Fluent Dutch, knowledge of English
