Middleware Specialist

The Role

Part of the team tasked with delivery of the new Worldpay Technology Infrastructure, covering the transition from RBS to Worldpay Data Centres, Networks and Office/Desk environmentsThis role provides the specialist skills and knowledge relating to the provision of a internal and external systems infrastructure (including Servers, network and software) suitable for supporting the Oracle based services Worldpay wish to deploy and operate Interaction with service providers to ensure correct specification and implementation

Key Accountabilities

Support of the Infrastructure Oracle Middleware based Solutions for Worldpay, which will form the core operating platform for the WorldPay Prove and Migrate programDelivery of expertise relating to Oracle Weblogic, SOA, IAM, Siebel UCM, IBM MQ Working with the Infrastructure Solution Designers to deliver supportable implementations of Oracle Middleware products in a HP Blade and EMC SAN environment Working with the Production Platform DBA team to deliver supportable implementations of Oracle Middleware products in both a RAC and non-RAC environment Produce relevant documentation to enable internal workstreams and support groups to deliver and support the required infrastructure products and services Support, Influence, Negotiate and Guide internal workstreams to a successful outcome Assist in establishing policies and procedures for an ongoing Worldpay Infrastructure Support Operation

Key Experience- Proven Track Record of designing, and successful implementation of, large PCI-certified corporate Oracle Middleware implementations supporting Real Time transaction processing systems

Proven capability to produce Infrastructure Design documents and diagrams, at varying levels

Experience of the implementation of Oracle Middleware on various hardware platforms, including WinTel, Linux and optionally, Sun Solaris, HP Non-Stop and IBM Z/os

Experience and knowledge of current PCI and Network Security Standards, relevant to infrastructure and Middleware implementations

Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Middleware product implementation utilising Identity Managed solutions

Working with third parties in the specification and delivery of infrastructure components

Proven Track Record in the specification and integration of Oracle Middleware, resulting in a resilient, high performing and cost-effective service

Technical Knowledge- Expert in deployment of Oracle Middleware technologies, including WebLogic, SOA Suite, Java application deployment

Knowledge of IBM MQ and related SOA and XML based message technologies

Expertise in the supporting tools, technologies and products available to deploy Middleware applications in a Linux based environment
