Middleware Product Consultant/Engineer

Middleware Product Consultant/Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the insurance sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Several years working experience in developing applications in a variety of coding languages
- Expertise in engineering, integrating and operating web application platforms including IBM WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat and Microsoft IIS
- Sound knowledge of Linux and Unix-like systems together with a deep grasp of cloud platforms (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with database systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and a solid understanding of the latest security principles, techniques and protocols
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a plus

YOUR TASKS:

- Developing, maintaining and expanding the Middleware infrastructure and associated interfaces
- Performing system analysis, gathering requirements and translating end-user requests into Middleware infrastructure designs
- Assuring operational readiness of implementations by creating technical documentation and automated testing procedures
- Enhancing the existing environment by evaluating additional capabilities, technologies and concepts
- Providing 3rd level technical support for internal colleagues and external service providers
