MIDDLEWARE OPENEDGE APPLICATION SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

A prestigious financial institution is looking for a MiddleWare OpenEdge Application Server Administrator to join their team in Luxembourg for a 6 month contract.

Key skills:

- Progress OpenEdge Application Server administration and configuration
- Knowledge of at least one JavaEE Application Server administration and configuration (JBoss, Oracle Weblogic Server)
- Linux Shell Scripts
- XML/XSD
- Eclipse IDE
- Maven Build Tool
- Usage of a version control system like IBM Clearcase

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and support procedures, scripts and XML for the delivery, automatic installation and configuration of Application Server platforms including Progress OpenEdge Application Server and Java EE (TomCat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere and AS)
- Support/investigate OpenEdge and Java EE environments (functional and technical/performance test environments)
- Design new solutions and OpenEdge and JavaEE infrastructure
