Middleware Environments Administrator (Fr & En)

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

MIDDLEWARE ENVIRONMENTS ADMINISTRATOR

To prepare, deploy and support the Middleware platform infrastructure (application Servers, enterprise service bus, and Apache)

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Provision and prepare new environments
- Deploy Middleware applications (possibly outside office hours)
- Admin. and monitor the Middleware infrastructure and applications support
- Install, configure and maintain Tomcat configuration (Apache Tomcat)
- Create or Update Shell Scripts (eg bash, sh etc.)   
- Systems unavailability/freeze troubleshooting as well as technical-functional problem solving (eg message not consumed, technical support to testers,
- Planning availability environment 
- Document the deployed applications and maintain the cartography of the Middleware platform for all type of environments.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Experience in complex IT architectures
- Good knowledge of application development life cycle
- Expert in LINUX/REDHAT system administration
- Good knowledge and practice of OO programming (design patterns, frameworks)
- Strong focus on quality insurance.
- Collaboration with both (internal) infrastructure and (external) development teams
- Knowledge of Oracle database technologies would be a plus

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF 2014 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
