Our global financial services client are looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer with knowledge of MQ and WebSphere to join their Infrastructure team on a contract basis, initially for 6 months. The Middleware Engineer will also be well rehearsed in the Windows, Linux and Unix platforms as you will be ensuring secure transfer of information between each platform and applications.
MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER - KEY SKILLS:
- Previous commercial experience as a Middleware Engineer
- Hands on MQ and WebSphere experience
- Experience working on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms
- Exposure to Tomcat and JBoss
- Experience with connect directly and data power
MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER - CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimal deployment of clutches
- Lifecycle management on various Middleware products
- Construction of new links and monitors
- Ensure secure transfers of information between platforms and applications
- Contribute and advise team on how to better processes within the Infrastructure team
