MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER KAFKA - AMSTERDAM - JANUARI 2018 - PROJECT

For one of the biggest international and innovative IT companies worldwide we are looking to hire! Are you interested and/or open for a new opportunity as Software Engineer in the area of Amsterdam? A project of at least 6 months with a high change of extension? Working in an international finance environment? And are you open to work on payroll?

YOUR TASKS

- Work with an team and be responsible for the Kafka Event Bus.
- Coach your colleges regarding the implementation of the event bus platform.
- Streamlining development process for code check-ins,
- Automated deployment and acceptance testing towards production.
- And industrializing the chosen Events and Data platforms within the firm with your co-workers.
- As the team has an high value for the business it's really important you document everything thoroughly

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- You have at least a Bachelor degree
- You have more than 2 years' experience with Java and Kafka and Web API's
- You have experience with Agile development and Scrum
- Familiar with working in Version Management, GIT and CI/CD environment
- You are known with working with open source technologies and tools
- You have strong communicative skills
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are secure and have developed documentation skills
