Middleware Engineer - Brussels, Belgium

I am currently recruiting for a Middleware Engineer to work for a client of mine based in the heart of Brussels, Belgium who are a global leader in digital services with over 100,000 staff in 72 countries and annual revenue of 12 billion Euros.

This is a support based Middleware role

Responsibilities:

The Middleware engineer will:

- Integrate and Deploy the eDelivery components
- Test and participate in the improvement of the next releases
- Support the applications in both acceptance and production environments
- Monitor the applications availability
- Troubleshoot and investigate infrastructure and software issues
- Manage tickets related to Incidents, requests, and problems
- Escalate incidents, requests, and problems via Jira to the 3rd line Support
- Insure Jira escalated issues quality
- Develop internal tools

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 1-2 years Middleware Specialist
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- Databases: Oracle 11g, MySQL
- Application Servers: WebLogic, TOMCAT, and Wildfly
- Methods: Scrum, DevOps and ITIL
- Tools: Eclipse, Jira, SMT, Maven, Docker, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI
- Programming: Java, J2EE, .NET and Drupal (nice to have)
- Enterprise: SOA, JMS, Hibernate, Web Services, REST, Spring Batch, Servlets, JSF, JSP
- Writing: Technical writing of administration and deployment guides

Rate: €200-€220 per day D.O.E
Until the end of the year with a possibility of extending
