Middleware Architect

Role Mandate:
The Middleware Architect is responsible for the ownership of enterprise Middleware environment infrastructure and architecture (WAS, MQ, Message Broker) and for estimation, design specification, development, day-to-day operations, and maintenance related to integration interfaces. This role is also responsible for support and adherence to IT Service Management procedures and also responsible for support and compliance with incident, change and release management procedures

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, implement of SOA based solution AND deployment of application solution
- Work in collaborative environment with internal and external vendors and business partners
- Responsible for high availability Middleware environments
- Responsible for performance and tuning of Middleware environment
- Responsible for software currency, scheduling of maintenance, patches, and upgrades.
- Provide on-call support to Middleware environments and work with application teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans implement solutions
