LOCATION: Cork (Potential to work 2-3days a week remotely)
SALARY: Competitive Daily Rate

MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR
Our client a leading independent technology provide based in Cork is seeking an experienced MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR to support WAS, MQ and ECM to join their team on a initial 6 month contract
This role will be based primarily in Cork however there is potential to work remotely 2-3 days a week. Weekend work will be required at various stages throughout the project.
The primary responsibility of the Middleware Administrator is development and support of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions.
The Middleware Administrator supports and documents the installation, configuration, capacity planning, problem resolution and debugging of all Middleware product environments
MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with internal Middleware teams to test, implement, integrate, and administer Middleware; generates reports concerning Middleware utilization, capacity, availability and support.
- Documents all existing and new Middleware platforms and infrastructure with respect to functionality, maintenance and administration.
- Coordinates IT teams to implement Middleware releases with release management.
- Maintains operations and administrations manuals; troubleshoots related processes, procedures and problems
- Coaches others on implementing and integrating Middleware products and platforms.
- Directs the adoption of system parameters for the monitoring of effective resource utilization on Middleware products and applications.
- Consults experts on key issues and challenges of software and utilities associated with Middleware environment.
- Monitors the performance of individual components and the overall Middleware products and platforms.
- Evaluates current standards, policies and guidelines in the development of installed Middleware infrastructure.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of organizational Middleware product procedures; make corrections where necessary
MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- 3 - 4 Years experience in a similar role
- Have the ability to articulate technical details in a clear and precise manner
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Excellent client facing skills
- WAS, MQ and ECM Experience
- Background knowledge of Oracle & DB2, & Solaris would also be advantageous
