Middleware Admin (Websphere)

The contract is with a large organisation in Luxembourg which is currently seeking an Administrator Middleware & Webserver.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Design, develop and support procedures, scripts and XML for the delivery, automatic installation and configuration of JavaEE Application Server platforms (Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere AS)

Design, develop and support procedures, scripts and XML for the delivery, automatic installation and configuration of Web Servers (Apache httpd, Oracle iPlanet)

Support/investigate Web based application environments (functional and technical/performance test environments)

Design new solutions around Web infrastructure (Web Servers and application Servers)

Skills:

Linux Shell Scripts

Knowledge of at least one JavaEE Application Server administration and configuration (like JBoss, Weblogic, IBM WebSphere AS or Tomcat...)

Webserver administration (Apache httpd,Oracle iPlanet)

XML/XSD

SSL/PKI knowledge

Eclipse IDE

Maven build tool

Usage of a version control system like IBM Clearcase

Knowledge of JavaEE development an advantage
