For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
MIDDLE OFFICE SPECIALIST - OPERATION/TRADE PROCESSES (5265)
The ideal candidate will be working within the Project Team, the Asset Management Operations team and Offshore which is responsible for the Middle Office coverage of different functions of the Bank. Guided by this team, the candidate will be mainly responsible for performing operational due diligence and regression testing.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE WITHIN OPERATIONS OR MIDDLE OFFICE FUNCTIONS, PREFERABLY WITHIN FINANCIAL SERVICES
- EXPOSURE TO AN ACCOUNTING, RECONCILIATION OR TRADE PROCESSING ENVIRONMENT
- STRONG RISK-AWARENESS MENTALITY
- STRONG MS OFFICE SKILLS
- The ability to multi-task and solve problems
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the team with Trade Processing and Settlements of Trades
- Understand Accounting and Reconciliation
- Work with Asset Management and Operations processes
- Understand and use Security Instruments ie Fixed Income, Equities, Collective Funds, OTC, ETD & FX
- Process understanding of fee commission calculation and accounting of payable & income
- Work closely within the Project Team and all operational functions to meet project targets
