Mid Level Scheduler - Oil and Gas Industry Job

Yoh has an 18 month contract opportunity for a MID-LEVEL PROJECT SCHEDULER (OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE) to join our client in downtown Houston, TX.

SCOPE: Scheduling, Schedule Monitoring, assist in Schedule Evaluation and Analysis, Quality Assurance.

Job Responsibilities:
- MID-LEVEL PROJECT SCHEDULER will be responsible for developing a work breakdown structure (WBS) for new schedules using MS Projects and Primavera.
- MID-LEVEL PROJECT SCHEDULER will develop WBS.
- Responsible for collection, verification, and integration of works scope for all entities into the total project plan.
- Develop and analyze schedule logic.
- Integrate capital project work.
- Integrate shutdown activities.
- Execute schedules.
- Run management reports to show schedule process.
- MID-LEVEL PROJECT SCHEDULER will identify critical and near critical activities.
- Add additional work requests to schedule.
- Post-Executing of a schedule.
- MID-LEVEL PROJECT SCHEDULER will close out schedule and follow up on completion of post activities.
- Prepare close out report.
- Complete milestone report.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience with turnaround and capital projects work in OIL AND GAS field required.
- A minimum of FIVE- EIGHT (5 - 8) YEARS OF OIL AND GAS PROJECT SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
- Knowledge of MS Projects and Primavera is required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITES ARE REQUIRED.
- MS Project Experience.
