Mid-Level Linux Dev/Web Programmer

MID-LEVEL LINUX DEVELOPER SEATTLE, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is a hugely popular company seeking a Developer to provide daily maintenance, and work comfortably with LAMP stack.

Additionally this candidate will assist with website migration and web related software development.

Good to have candidates who can work 7am to 4pm. Some work outside of core hours may be required.

OVERVIEW:

- 3-4 years development experience in a Linux environment
- Front End development skills and ability to troubleshoot/repair a website
- Must know LAMP stack
- WordPress skills are a definite plus
- Web programming and knowledge of MVC patterns and principles are a definite plus
- Good knowledge of MySQL databases
- Must be able to troubleshoot website installation issues
- Ability to work with Linux virtual machines
- Good software development work habits (documentation, flow charts, Visio diagrams, interpret and code to software specifications)
- Agile mindset that can suggest alternative solutions to problems and be prepared for changes
- Desirable Degree in computer science with computer IT background
- Candidates with other IT certifications, qualifications will also be strongly considered.
