Mid Level Developer - Hedge Fund Administration - Chicago

My client is a Hedge Fund Administration looking for a Mid Level Software Developer to join their team building and supporting applications for 300 Back Office users. The applications are written in Python with a thin presentation layer written in .NET. The system leverages a Service Oriented Architecture running over SonicMQ. Experience with SQL Server on the backend is necessary!

Requirements:

* 3-5 years experience with OOP concepts and implementing classes in any language (C#, C++, Java)
* Experience with or desire to learn Python
* Understanding of TDD and Agile Methodologies
* Ability to understand and utilize existing code written by other developers
* Creative thinking and problem solving skills
* Desire to learn and understand how applications are helping the business users and how the business functions in general.
