Mid Level Accountant Job

ACCOUNTANT needed for a five (5 +) month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pittsburgh, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provides financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports
- Accountant Job Duties: Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information
- .Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Three (3 +) years of related experience
- EXPERIENCE IN PREPARING BALANCE SHEETS, PROFIT AND LOSS STATEMENTS AND OTHER ACCOUNTING RELATED FUNCTIONS
- FAMILIAR WITH ASSETS, LIABILITY AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in Accounting related software
- Previous accounting experience within the food industry is a plus but not required
