Mid Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MID JAVA DEVELOPER to join our client in St. Louis, MO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developer will be part of team that is developing both new applications and modifying existing applications to support e-government solutions.
- They will participate in the design, architecture, development, testing, implementation, and support of the application.
- Their team provides e-government solutions worldwide to help transform the way U.S. federal government agencies, selected U. S. public sector organizations and state Medicaid agencies manage information and improve responsiveness to their customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience.
- Strong MVC Pattern experience within frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
- Understanding of version control and change management processes.
- Detail-oriented with solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Unit and integration testing skills.
- Familiar with Linux/Unix command line environment.
- Experience with J2EE application Servers such as JBOSS or Tomcat.
- Three to five (3-5) years of work experience in solution analysis, design, and construction in a Java-based environment.
- Self-starter that can work with remotely with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to develop prototypes for technology and UI evaluation processes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proven ability to innovate and work jointly with other team members.
- Strong Java experience including servlet, JSP, and Application Server implementation of J2EE containers - coursework experience applicable
- Strong HTML, JavaScript and CSS development skills.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or DB2 relational databases preferably utilizing JDBC/SQL
