Microwave Planner

Connect44 is urgently looking for Microwave Planner for our client.

The microwave frequency planning engineer has the mission to facilitate the network rollout and expansion by planning frequencies in line with Customer program.

- Issue BAKOM licence applications respecting the underlying processes.
- Check microwave engineering, RX level calculation; Make frequency assignment, threshold degradation, H/L coordination, Perform interference analysis.
- Check link packs and amend records as appropriate.
- Apply rules to make microwave application conform to local regulator recommendations.
- Ensure that internal information flow for BAKOM rules changes is spread to TX Planning Team
- Support Transmission planners in case of special problems and in the planning and implementation of microwave links.
- Make the provision of microwave equipment forecasting for Customer.
- Manage the relationship with BAKOM for microwave applications, and -in case of conflict- manage relationship with other licensed operators.
- Manage microwave equipment stock re-use.
- Act as key user for microwave frequency planning tool and MW frequency activities in any other rollout/planning/provisioning related tool. Manage and maintain tool functionality up to date in cooperation with tools and performance team.
- Reporting MW forecast and delivery dates to Customer.
- Free to organise his work (validation, documentation, ) according the targets defined by the Transmission Manager.
- Find innovative technical solutions for the network
