Microstrategy Developer/Architect

Our client in Center City Philadelphia is looking for an experience MicroStrategy developer/architect for a long-term 12months + contract role. They will be asked to design and develop reporting solutions for a wide range of different end-users in a Financial Services organization. They will work with business users to understand their needs and then implement them in innovative ways.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 7 years experience with Microstrategy or other BI platform with at least 3 years in the Finance industry
- Proven ability to manage diverse client and stakeholder relationships and to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Proven problem solving skills and the ability to independently debug and diagnose problems
- Expert-level proficiency with relational database design and SQL programming in SQL Server or Sybase
- Expert-level proficiency with Microstrategy
- Proficient with ETL tools such as SSIS, Pervasive or Informatica
- End to end knowledge of Business Intelligence and data warehousing architectures
- Experience in developing and using Business Intelligence data marts and tools such as semantic models, cubes, facts and dimensions
- Knowledge of smart data presentation (scorecards, dashboards and other advanced analytics)
- Excellent understanding of project methodologies such as SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc. Familiarity with scheduling software such as Autosys or Control-M is a plus
