Microstrategy Consultant Job

MICROSTRATEGY CONSULTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Swiftwater, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work as Microstrategy Developer to support different functional areas of business.
- Support dashboard development and deploy with defined business rules as part of business requirement document.
- Coordinate with team and work with mates to complete the project on time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Expert in OLTP/OLAP Systems Analysis.
- Knowledge of Star schema and Snowflake schema along with Dimensional Data Modeling.
- Expert in Creating Adhoc and Complex Reports in MicroStrategy Desktop using features like templates, custom groups and consolidations.
- Expert in creation of Documents, Dashboards and Scorecards reflecting better understanding of the Business trends.
- Expert in using Object manager, Enterprise Manager and Command manager.
- Good Knowledge of various databases Oracle 10g/9i/8i and SQL Server 2000/2005.
- Extensively used different performance tuning methods like Caching, Aggregate tables and creating indexes on tables.
- Experience in working with different operating systems like UNIX (Linux, IBM-AIX) and Windows NT/2000/2003.
- Expert in using tools like TOAD, SQL Developer Application.
- Five (5) plus years working in a Microstrategy Application.
- Must have an advance degree in Computer sciences or with mathematics as major.
- Nice to have Microstrategy Certification.
