MICROSOFT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

In the context of one of our major assignments within the European Institutions in Brussels, we are currently looking for an experienced System Administrator (Brussels)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Daily management of the local Servers (application, information system, file
- Management of backup procedures and participation actively in Disaster Recovery implementation of all the client's information systems;
- Email management
- Documentation of all procedures used in the Computer room;
- Proactive proposition of solutions and/or best practices;
- Implementation of the proposed solutions after they were approved by the management;
- Working outside standard working hours (evening and weekend) can exceptionally be requested to the candidate

PROFILE:

- Degree with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
- A very good knowledge of the following tools is required: Windows server (2003-2008), Exchange and Active Directory
- A good knowledge of the following tools is an asset: Scripting languages (PowerShell...)
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment;
- A first experience with implementing DR plans is an assert
- Ability to work in English and French
