Microsoft SQL Server Engineer - Business Intelligence - .NET - Data

MICROSOFT SQL SERVER ENGINEER required, to work on a project within a major Bank in Switzerland.

The opportunity is to work on a joint project between our finance, banking and risk control departments to develop their SQL Server data mart and analysis services platform to support their management reporting, dash-boarding and data analysis needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server BI technologies, in particular Microsoft Analysis Services and Integration Services
- Expert knowledge of dimensional modelling and data mart design.
- Experience with .NET (C#) would be beneficial.
- Experience working on Microsoft BI projects within the TFS framework would be beneficial
- Experience working with Tableau against SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services data sources would be beneficial.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Familiar in working in a multi-functional team environment including developers, data analysts and business area representatives.
- Experience in working in an agile (scrum) framework.
- Experience in working in the banking or financial services business domain or working on financial reporting solutions.
- English language skills and experience in working in a multi-cultural organisation.

LOCATION: Basel - Switzerland
DURATION: 6 - 12 Months (option for extension)
