Microsoft Solution Specialist for Multinational Client in the Hague

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MICROSOFT SOLUTION SPECIALIST TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANT

INFORMATION DISCOVERY:

- Gather and document the Active Directory functional and non-functional requirements in the context of the Data Center and Office 365 projects.
- Gather and document the functional and non-functional requirements for the new file server infrastructure.

Scope: Migration from Active Directory to Azure Active Directory for O365, file services

DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE:

- Analyse the requirements and provide recommendations for the solution.
- Elaborate the desired solution design, operational processes and procedures.
- Establish a deployment planning and strategy in several phases that will meet milestones defined by the project.
- Establish the migration strategy.
- Provide thread analysis, risk mitigation and detailed security controls and specifications.

OPERATIONAL DEPLOYMENT:

- Define all the required technical specifications of the infrastructure components (software and hardware requirements) and contribute to the procurement documentation.
- Lead and contribute to the implementation of the test and production environments.
- Realize the functional and performance testing and validation according to the predefined requirements.
- Contribute to the migration under the lead of the Service Contract Manager.
- Plan and realize the hand-over of the infrastructure to the operation department.

Scope: new file services

DOCUMENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE SHARE:

- Produce the documentation according to the client.
- Knowledge transfer to the staff and to the support team.

MISCELLANEOUS:

- Liaise with the stakeholders involved in this activity.
- Coordinate the various technical phases of the work package.
- Scope: Migration from Active Directory to Azure Active Directory for O365, file services

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

- University degree with a high-level expertise in specific Microsoft technologies and a significant experience in the design and implementation of solutions and a deep knowledge in:
- Windows Operating Systems
- Windows Server (2008/2012/2016)
- Distributed File System (DFS)
- Storage Replica
- Microsoft failover clustering (stretched clusters)
- File services
- Windows 10
- Data management
- Backup/restore services
-Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Office 365
- Best practices in creating secured environments
- Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills;
- Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).

IN ADDITION, THE CONSULTANT SHOULD HAVE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES:

- VMWare
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation;
