My client is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to join its team to help collaborate work between London and New York. The Solution Architect and Designer will review requirements and architect a solution that may involve existing applications. In addition the person will create detailed technical specifications and work with developers to implement the solution.There are 3 main elements to the role: 1. Technical Analysis * Conduct analysis of systems, services, and data models to accurately represent business/technical processes * Analyze and understand business requirements and functional specifications * Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology * Comprehension of complex business rules that affect data across the systems topology and the business 2. Solution Design * Develop diagrams and artifacts for governance and software implementation purpose * Perform highly complex detail design activities which may require extensive research and analysis * Participate and assist with the testing and production lifecycle for functionality and scalability limits/constraints 3. Working with the Team * Lead and/or participate in solution design meetings * Lead and/or participate in solution detailed design reviews and code reviews * Participate and assist with the testing and production lifecycle for functionality and scalability limits/constraints * Partner with internal organizations to understand the strategic direction of the business and how the functional area supports that direction * Liaise with the Enterprise Architecture organization to ensure corporate standards and policies adhere to the recommended guidelines * Face off to global technical streams worldwide and ensure that communication between teams is timely and effective KEY SKILLS - * Solid expertise developing, designing and architecting applications * Substantial experience in Windows environment designing and building multi-tier applications, web services and web based applications * Experience with database design * Strong Windows .NET skills, C#, SSIS, MQ, and SQL (preferably MS SQL with T-SQL) skills * Experience with Microsoft .Net and COM+ application component services * Able to produce high level application design and detailed technical specifications * Able to work with developers in remote locations * Good understanding of best code development and deployment practices To find out more about Huxley Associates, please visit
