For a longer term project at our banking client based in Zurich we are looking for a

MICROSOFT LYNC UC ADMINISTRATOR (3468)

This is an interesting and challenging position in the collaboration services department.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven track record of at least 3 years' experience in supporting a complex Microsoft Lync UC environment
- Must have strong Microsoft Lync and Enterprise Voice experience (preferred Lync 2013) in design and operation as well as Lync Client and Server troubleshooting experience
- A wide experience in generating Lync reports
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony technologies, Avaya Session Manager and CISCO VCS Video Conferencing integration
- Experience with ACMEPacket SBCs and knowledge of enterprise WAN concepts, load balancing and hardware components
- Strong knowledge and experience in supporting technologies like Exchange 2010 and Active Directory
- Experience with enterprise messaging and Exchange UM integration
- Must have Scripting skills (PowerShell)
- Networking knowledge (Routing and VLAN) and protocols (SIP, TCP, DNS, Nimbus, Proxies), Security knowledge (Firewall)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, Strong troubleshooting background, Proactive team player
- Fluent English skills (German is an advantage)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Administration and support of the Microsoft Lync-, Exchange- and Active Directory Infrastructure
- Management of the quality, reliability, capacity, performance and configuration of the regional/global Lync Enterprise Voice estate
- Managing and deploying the instrumentation required to proactively manage service reliability and quality as well as the integration of Lync with Exchange (Unified Messaging) and Video Conferencing platform (Cisco)
- Change and release testing and implementation
- Capacity management in Lync 2013 and Actiance Vantage estate and Integration of Lync Edge services (Federation, Web Conferencing and Mobile Collaboration)
- Providing guidance and council to operators, engineers and product managers on best practice
- Troubleshoot end to end infrastructure including compliance stack (Actiance)
- Review CDR and QoE reports to manage service quality and end user experience
- Ensure 2nd level support to other departments and consistency with other regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC)
- Ability to work off business hours
