MICROSOFT FILE MIGRATION CONSULTANT - AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in file services
- Good understanding or experience with Microsoft file services
- Experience in file migrations containing User, Profile, Group and Application data
- General knowledge of NetApp
- Knowledge and/or experience with MCSE Windows Server 2012R2
- Good understanding and/or experience with Microsoft DFS
- Knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Robocopy
- Minimum of 10 years IT experience and a degree at a Bachelor level or higher
- ITIL experience and certification is preferred
- Agile experience

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Assist with a file migration of different European branch offices/countries
- High-level overview of migration steps needs to be transferred into detailed (technical) activities
- Coordinate these activities with offshore teams and can perform these activities by themselves if needed
- Copying of User, Profile, Group and Application dat
- Propose and help decide on solutions for the complex activities like the daily backup of files services and creating a migration approach for Application Data with minimal impact on the applications
