Microsoft Exchange Migration Consultant - London - Exchange 2010 - Mon

Microsoft Exchange Consultant is required for a leading Microsoft Gold Partner specialising in providing Cloud Solutions to work on an Exchange Migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 based in London for one of their leading retail clients. The ideal candidate would be a technical consultant with subject matter expertise in the area of Microsoft Exchange  2003/2010/2013 and Office 365 as well as a solid understanding of Active Directory and Federation Services. This role would require experience in the consulting, implementation and support of these technologies.

This role is initial 2 months and to start on Monday 20th January

Responsibilities:

- Provide advanced level expertise relating to Exchange 2003/2010
- Responsible for documenting and driving best practices
- 5+ years of experience desired with a proven advanced skill-set and enterprise experience across various Microsoft and related technologies with specific expertise in the following:
- Expertise in the Microsoft Messaging Technologies (Exchange 2003/2010)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Core Infrastructure
- Experience with MS Exchange migrations including hybrid configurations
- Windows Server 2008 R2/2012
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- PowerShell
- Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP sub netting, routing, SMTP protocol, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Strong understanding of industry standard virtualization & data storage technologies
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Previous experience in architecting and implementing core infrastructure environments within enterprise-level organisations
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Desirable:

Any Microsoft qualifications would be desirable, especially relating to Exchange 2010, Messaging and Server
