On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Microsoft SQL Server specialist for a contract role in Zurich.

Our client a leading company in the financial services field, is looking for junior and senior applicants with a solid Microsoft technical background for a hand-on roles supporting customers across Switzerland.
We are looking for both development and administration (DBA) skills and are also keen to speak to candidates who have a general background within this area.
Need to have:
Experience and extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server 2008
Very Good knowledge of Windows & SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server 2003/2008 with of VERITAS clustering and volume manager
SAN/NAS Storage
-Experience with vmware
-Experience with database backup integration (Oracle, SQL, Sybase)
-Experience Windows operating systems
-NettAPP
troubleshooting, Performance management on SQL Databases
English speaking
Nice to have:
Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services.
