Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a MI BI specialist for an exciting contract opportunity in Copenhagen.
The right candidate will possess the following experiences and characteristics
The ideal candidate holds a degree within Finance or IT and has experience from a similar position. You have solid SQL experience and have worked with Business Intelligence solutions. It is an advantage if you have experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2012 incl. BIDS, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS and you are able to build solutions based on OLAP (MDX) and Tabular (DAX). Preferably you are familiar with the end-to-end solution design of the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack and are capable of integrating the BI solutions with MS SharePoint and Excel etc. for optimal and secure exposure to end-users. You have experience with gathering and qualifying business requirements. Furthermore it is an advantage if you have knowledge of accounting principles, standard costing and yield reporting
Key objective of Reporting is to deliver all financial reporting from one system and provide fast and consistent financial information to support management and commercial decisions. The Program will cater for actual cost year-to-date profitability reporting, cost management, revenue management, standard cost, yield management and financial forecasting. The solution will be at the core of management decision-making for the client.
General areas of responsibility
Your key tasks as a Business Intelligence Specialist will be:
Translating requirements into sustainable and value adding Business Intelligence solutions.
Designing and implementing technical solutions architectures.
Building reports and dashboards in the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite.
ETL, data integration, data quality and data conversion design/implementation.
Data modelling and data architecture design/implementation.
Stakeholder and vendor management.
The availability of the right information at the right time to support all financial decisions is pivotal for the future success of the project. In the role as Business Intelligence Specialist/Developer you will join a team of experts that realizes the analytical capabilities for a Fortune 500 company with a 20+ Billion USD yearly revenue. The team is solving technical complex challenges and are constantly looking into the latest technologies to optimize the solution. As part of the big picture you will join a strategically important BI Finance team of experts working across multiple technologies (Microsoft, Informatica, TeraData, SAP etc.) to deliver the end-to-end financial Business Intelligence capabilities of the client.
