Microsoft BI Developer, SSAS, Banking (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Microsoft BI Developer with good working knowledge of SSAS to work on a new project in Zurich.

MICROSOFT BI DEVELOPER, SSAS, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

- Design, develop and optimize multi-dimensional Data Bases and structures in a Microsoft environment (SSAS cubes).
- Tune and Improve performance both load time and query time of SSAS cubes.
- On regular basis interact and collaborate with team members in Zurich and Poland
- Advise business reporting engineers and users on the best way to implement their solutions
- Provide day-2-day technical support to reporting developers and Production team

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Strong end-to-end Microsoft Business Information skills (SSAS, SSRS, TSQL, SQL Server)
- Command of conceptual Database Modelling (Relational DB's)
- Command of Microsoft Analysis Services, MDX Development and OLAP cube principles and concepts
- Strong communication skills in English to be able to communicate and manage demanding business users
- Ability to be able to work concurrently on a number of different topics and to be able to change focus quickly as needed
- Oracle experience beneficial
- Ability to be able to architect new solutions and coordinate technical solutions with Architects, security and risk specialists
- Opportunity to take higher responsibility for BI and DWH
- Communication in German is a Plus
