ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful MS BI Support Specialist will work as part of a team committed to the analysis, development, implementation and support of SQL Server, Data Marts and MS BI (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Sharepoint) to meet business requirements. They will work closely within a successful and innovative team, using the latest technologies to understand and participate in business and functional requirements. There will be an element of designing, testing and assisting fellow team members in delivery. You will also be given the opportunity to work from home if necessary.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in documenting Support Process
- Minimum 3 Years' experience in Microsoft BI (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint)
- Experience in logical and physical relational database analysis, design and engineering including traditional Entity-Relationship Modelling
- Experience with SQL and other standard database query tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of Relational databases such as SQL Server
- Extensive data warehouse architecture knowledge including star schema, ODS extract methodology
- Self-initiative and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical users
- Experience in Administering and Upgrading BI platform
- Experience in supporting Microsoft BI (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint) Platform
- Exposure to ITIL Methodology
