Microsoft .NET Technical Expert
Our client is a giant in the Belgian ICT market. They are seeking a Technical Expert to define and implement engineering best practices in order to shorten delivery time and improve the quality of its software development.
You will need to be a technical expert in .NET application development, using Visual Studio, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual SourceSafe (VSS). Since the teams are a mixture of French and Dutch speaking, it is necessary that you speak Dutch, English and French.
The job centres on configuration management, continuous integration, automated testing and adaptive development of in-house .NET applications (used for release management). You will be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of other .NET developers in the department. More generally, you will be gathering requirements, performing analysis, managing .NET applications, prioritising work for the team, planning, reporting and following up. You will help shape the team into a more efficient unit.
