Microsoft .NET Software Engineer

Responsible for developing public safety enterprise software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies in a Service Oriented Architecture.

RESPONSIBILITY

- Consult with Team lead and help create design documents for new feature work.
- Design, Code and Unit Test Windows/Web Software Application. Must be able to lead an application/feature from conception through the entire Development Cycle.
- Maintain existing Software Application by correcting software defects
- Effectively collaborate with other technical resources in a multi-team environment
- Troubleshoot production system issues

SKILLS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors Degree (in Computer Science or related degree)
- 5+ years of Software Engineering and/or Development experience

SKILLS

- Proven Experience in the following - C#, .Net, WPF, WCF, .NET Win forms, ASP.NET, .NET Socket programming, Design Patterns, SOA, System Analysis and Performance tuning
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database technologies such as MS SQL server, including database design, T-SQL and stored procedures
- Proficiency using Visual Studio 2010/2012 and a Source Control Solution like MS Team Foundation Server
- Strong exposure to Object Oriented Design and development
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: PowerShell, HTML5, Javascript, Continuous/On-Demand Deployment
