A medical device company in the Menlo Park area is looking for a Microbiologist to join their team. The Microbiologist works on complex projects and is responsible for providing high quality technical support in consultation to the organization on microbiological needs. Facilitate documentation changes and maintenance of documentation and documentation support for the department. Oversees the updating and review of documentation to support policy/procedures, methodology, formulation changes, specification, etc. Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's Degree in microbiology or biological sciences and several years experience. In the absence of the desired degree progressive, productive experience in the company and demonstrated competence may be substituted.

Microbiologist Duties:

* Perform Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Impact Assessment for Product Design/Manufacturing Process Changes
* Coordinate Ethlylene Oxide Sterilization Validations and Annual Requalifications
* Write up Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Validation/Annual Requalification Reports
* Coordinate Comparative Resistance studies for Ethlyene Oxide Sterilization
