Micro CT Analyst

Yoh has an interesting and highly technical, contract opportunity for a MICRO CT ANALYST to join our client located in the Schenectady, NY area.

Job Responsibilities:

- Contractor will be in charge of analytical instrumentation for material characterization and data analysis that are required for X-ray imaging.
- Identification and implementation of appropriate analysis methods and data processing tools to solve technical problems.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineer or a related discipline.
- Experience with 3D image analysis.
- Strong fundamentals in X-ray physics.
- Demonstrated instrumentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively across technical disciplines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Job Skills/Certifications/Knowledge:

- Hands-on experience with Industrial CT and GE Micro-CT instruments (previously Phoenix).
- Experience with a variety of different material systems.
- Experience in other characterization techniques such as XRD, Microscopy, etc.
- Programming skills.
- Working knowledge of statistics and chemometrics.
