A fantastic opportunity to become a MI Reporting Analyst has become available to work for a well established, national organisation based in the Energy and Utilities sector.

Job Purpose:
. Support the delivery of the Delivery Unit SHE strategy and engagement to ensure continuous improvement, world class performance and the development of appropriate SHE culture
. Compile accurate and timely reports for the business and other parts of the directorate to communicate performance at the relevant level and in a meaningful way
. Monitor Safety, Health and Environmental performance of all business units against targets, objectives and provide support in developing action plans to improve SHE management controls
. Develop, manage and communicate a structured SHE communications Matrix for the SHE activities
. Provide expert advice and support to the business to enable them to capture SHE performance data effectively and efficiently
. Support the development of the Delivery Unit SHE strategy and SHE management systems to promote continuous improvement to create, achieve and sustain world class performance, and ensure full engagement and education of the Delivery Unit management team for accountability in delivery
. Provide performance information for communication, including team talk and ad-hoc presentations, etc, on learning points from investigations as appropriate
. Ensure the efficient administration and maintenance of SHE, SHE financial and other records, technical documents, files and associated data
. Monitor progress against actions from audits and investigations and produce management reports to tight deadlines
. Undertake analysis of event data, principally from the IMS system, Process Safety reports, Audit & Assurance databases and other business information sources, to provide insight from the information and identify and monitor trends
. Produce business statistics, reports and guidance, which enable the business risk to be understood and actioned appropriately. Able to conduct business risk profiling.
. Interpretation of business data and information to produce high-level SHE business dashboards and highlight key information in a brief and concise format

Experience Required:

* Previous accountability and ownership for allocated issues/improvement plans and initiatives
* Experience of preparing concise, accurate reports and information to all levels within an organisations
* Proven ability to deliver concise analytical risk profiling in report and dashboard formats to various audiences
* Meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to make good, timely decision in a fast-paced and time-constrained environment
* Must be organised and solution-oriented, with a proactive nature and excellent follow-up skills
* Motivated and organised self-starter with the ability to solve complex or routine problems effectively and react with the appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to think of innovative new ways in which to engage the business on issues
* Must be able to demonstrate a high-level capability and experience of using and manipulating software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project, Visio, Access (essential) and Sharepoint (ideal)
* Must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate articulately

Qualifications Required:
. Degree (or equivalent) in engineering/computer science/business analysis
. Ideally a member of relevant professional body
. SHES reporting experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
. Full UK driving license and own vehicle essential with a need to travel nationally in the England and Wales.

The successful MI Reporting Analyst will become an Employed Consultant of Hyphen and will work onsite for our Client, an International Banking Group.
