MI DEVELOPER

What the MI team is all about

Working on high profile projects using the latest technologies, the successful candidate will form part of a team of highly skilled developers building innovative self service management information systems. The systems are web based using ASP.NET 4.0 with c# for the code behind and SQL Server 2008 R2 as the persistent data store. Extensive use is made of the Entity Framework, experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) would be beneficial.

WHAT BEING AN MI DEVELOPER INVOLVES

- To deliver operational support through innovative solutions which meet customer requirements within agreed timescales, budgets & supports the overall strategic focus defined by the business.
- This support will include giving agreed timely data to support positive change across the operation
- Deliver innovative solutions that will drive profit for our share holders, TCF behaviour for our customers and engage our people, all in a compliant and risk adverse manner.
- Deliver MI data that supports the Front End operations, which is flexible to requirements and supports the strategy for MI in 2013.
- Improve the Insight of operational performance by assisting the supply of analytics to support Root Cause Analysis.
- Centralisation of all data feeds into a Datawarehouse to increase flexibility and reduce complexity of our MI Development data model.
- Ensure development of new and existing processes can deliver operational MI reporting at desired frequency (operational & strategic) Daily, weekly, monthly - static, self service and adhoc.
- Innovate and explore the use of alternative software and technology to improve the functionality of the MI reporting.
- Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to my role.
- Collaborate with colleagues around the Business taking responsibility in supporting others to help deliver quality information, to create a great place to work and also to create a positive environment.
- Engage with stakeholders to obtain feedback and insight into requirements to ensure that reporting meets customer needs pre and post delivery, which is delivered within agreed timescales and tracked on relevant governance documentation.
