MI Data Analyst

PRGs client, a leading Financial Service organisation based in Edinburgh currently require to recruit an experienced MI Data Analyst who will drive key process improvement, MI development / production for wider finance reporting teams.

Ideally, you will have experience of working within financial services and be able to demonstrate experience of working in key finance system / process related projects.

Reporting to a Senior Manager and working with an experienced team, the key responsibilities of the role are:

&bull Design and build Excel dashboards using VBA and advanced formulas for actual, forecast and budget reporting
&bull Write SQL queries to process and extract data from MS Access databases
&bull Develop MS Access front end interfaces
&bull Plan projects by undertaking requirements gathering, engaging stakeholders and maintaining project pipeline documents
&bull Create technical documentation for all projects and reports
&bull Post deployment support for all reports and databases
&bull Review existing reports, offering and implementing positive changes

You will be able to demonstrate Advanced MS Excel, Access and SQL skills.
