MI and Analytics Lead - Tier 1 Investment Bank

MI AND ANALYTICS LEAD - TIER 1 INVESTMENT BANK

My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for an MI and Analytics lead to join on a contract basis, to be based in London. The Ideal candidate would ideally come from a background in Financial Services and/or consulting (preferably consulting), with Risk and Control experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide the MI and analytics to understand how 'in control' the bank are in of the business
- Responsible for the definition and development of new dashboards and reports.
- The right candidate will undertake ad hoc analysis on complex issues and control questions.
- The role holder will engage with stakeholders to train people on using the dashboards and reporting interfaces to embed a self-service culture for control insights.
- The ideal candidate will be able contribute to develop the teams MI, analysis and insights goals.

PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

- The right candidate will have experience in a MI and Analytics role, with a background in Financial Services and/or consulting, ideally with Risk and Control experience.
- Experienced with MI and visualisation tools - eg Qlickview, Spotfire, Roambi, Tableau and Excel/Access.
- The successful candidate will need to be able to prove experience and fluency in professional data and analytics environments.
