MI Analyst - Excel Expert - Glasgow

MI Analyst working to produce daily Management Information reports, cost models and scenario models from various data-sets. You will be working primarily in Excel and must be comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.

Glasgow for a large multi-national bank.

The work will involve extensive data manipulation in Microsoft Excel and use of PowerPoint. The role comprises of the following key tasks:

Producing MI, reconciling disparate data-sets, cost modelling, verification of planning scenarios and new scenario modelling. The contract length is estimated as 6 months, and will potentially start as early as 27/07/2015, subject to security vetting.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Graduate/entry level (2-3 years) in numerate discipline with deep experience in using Microsoft Excel - Ideal candidate will be located in or around Glasgow

MAIN SKILLS

Advanced Excel

Excellent level of spoken and written English

Some knowledge of Microsoft Access advantageous

Demonstrable experience of producing MI and scenario/cost modelling

VBA or some programming knowledge an advantage

Prior experience in a banking/financial services role an advantage
