MI Analyst

My major Investment Banking client based in Bromley is currently seeking a MI Analyst to join their IT Wholesale Banking division

Key Skills required for a MI Analyst:

*Strong MS Excel and Access skills (experience of using VBA for automation)
*Experience in programming in SQL Relational Databases (SQL Server/Oracle)
*Web Services experience
*IBM Rational Tools experience
*Familiarity of SDLC processes
*Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
*Banking or Financial Services experience OR large blue chip Company experience

The role (accountabilities):

*Develop technical solutions to support key functions of the business management group
*Design and develop departmental reports and dashboards
*Manipulate and analyse large data sets for ad-hoc and routine reporting
*Design, build and maintain a data warehouse which is key tool for department reporting
*Work closely with vendors on tooling development
*Responsibility of building training materials and leading training courses.
