Mfg Technical Specialist II Job

MFG TECHNICAL SPECIALIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in VACAVILLE, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- BS or higher degree at an accredited college or university
- 5-10 years of experience in process validation and/or cell culture operations
- Good problem solving, interpersonal, communication, and team skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Working with engineers and specialists to learn the science behind the cell culture operations of the manufacturing process
- Developing Validation Project Plan for Cell Culture Operations for a new product (including but not limited to: reviewing the existing studies performed at different sites, identifying gaps in existing validation studies)
- Responsible for writing protocols, executing studies (small scale and large scale), and writing reports to support process characterization and validation activities per Validation Project Plan and Tech Transfer Activities
- Drafting sections of Site Specific Process Description as part of Tech Transfer activities
- Responsible for coordinating tech transfer Chugai/VV video conference meeting (ie. setting up the VCs, communicating agenda, and drafting minutes)
- Assist in review of User Requirement Specifications, Critically Assessments, System Impact Assessments, and Risk Assessments
- Project debug and implementation support

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
- Knowledge of cell culture processes and/or process validation is required.
- Contractor must be a self-starter with a strong focus on quality, details, and results.
- Must have completed BS or higher degree at an accredited college or university and 5-10 years of experience in process validation and/or cell culture operations.
