Messaging Engineers (Exchange 2013)

Do you have experience with MS Exchange 2013 and the MESSAGING environment? Do you like good weather? If so, this is the contract for you!

A global IT company with a 50,000 plus user base requires multiple Messaging Engineers to join their team and support the design, implementation, administration and maintenance of their Microsoft Exchange 2013-based messaging infrastructure. These are 3 month initial contracts, but have extension possibilities offering long term work. They are based in Brindisi, Italy and require fluent English speakers.

Messaging Engineer duties:

. Provide administration and maintenance of large MS Exchange 2013 messaging infrastructure
. Manage and maintain standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools
. Support Domino to Exchange migration projects; including the creation of mailboxes and manually transferring users
. Incident management, troubleshooting and providing messaging related solutions, all based on a ticketing system
. Have responsibility for design, final testing and deployment of email solutions
. Provide related technical documentation
. Analyse the technical needs of customer, end-users and all stakeholders
. Develop plans for Messaging improvement via the ITIL service level management process
. Perform other duties as required, including Blackberry and Lync deployments
. Mandatory shift work as part of an extended 24/7 service coverage, along with out of hours support, if required

Messaging Specialist skills:

. 5 years experience in operating and maintaining large scale MS Exchange messaging infrastructure
. Expert knowledge of MS Exchange 2010 and 2013
. MCSE or MCSM certification, preferred
. Good knowledge of MS Active Directory
. Lotus Notes Domino experience, including migrations to Exchange
. Good understanding of Network concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP) as well as directory service, application and webhosting
. LotusScript, PowerShell or similar Scripting tool in MS Exchange
. VMWare and virtualisation knowledge, desirable
. Experience with Lync 2013/Enterprise vault 11/Blackberry 10 deployment and Active Sync devices will be helpful
. ITIL & PRINCE 2 is desirable, but not essential
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required
. Spanish skills will be a bonus
