MES Technical Designer

MES TECHNICAL DESIGNER

One of our leading tech clients is urgently looking for a MES Technical Designer. The successful MES technical designer will be working on an implementation of a new MES application as well as migrating several planning and scheduling solutions. By combining business knowledge with your IT knowledge and programming skills, you will implement solutions which support the business and maintain those solutions.

The MES Technical Designer will have the following Skills & Experience:

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES:

- Oracle PL/SQL
- OPAL (OM Partners)
- Python (PSI)
- JAVA (Optional)

TOOLS:

- Clearcase
- Eclipse
- Control-M

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

- Designing and coding changes in the applications.
- Assisting functional maintenance with troubleshooting.
- Maintenance of interfaces from and to the Mainframe/Oracle.
- Maintenance of planning and scheduling software.
- Keeping technical documentation up-to-date
- Working in projects from a maintenance point of view.
- Working in migrations as a technical consultant and programmer.
- Translating functional requirements into technical requirements for the planning software
- Serve as a (technical) business consultant for the planning software.
- Out of office hours support for the planning systems and interfaces.

SOFT SKILLS:

Dutch language

Must be willing to learn OPAL & Python.

HBO/WO level, preferably in computer-science/mathematics.

CONTRACT: 6months +
