MES Functional Consultant for Commissioning Support

Initial Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Switzerland, Sion

My client is looking for an experienced senior process consultant for an Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation based in Switzerland.

Below is the description for this position:

- German or French speaker looked upon favourable
- Should have experience of metals manufacturing processes like production/quality/order management/materials management/warehouse management etc.
- Preparing agenda and participating in customer meetings for requirement gathering.
- Customer relationship management
- AS-IS Study and TO-BE Functional blueprinting using MES standards
- Expertise in functional design and commissioning for MES projects/major manufacturing IT projects for metals industry
- Experience of creating business flow diagrams
- Experience of PSI MES product/MES commercial of the shelf products for metals industry
- Understanding of ISA-95 guidelines
- Experience of performing gap-fit analysis with the MES products
- Good analytical & troubleshooting skills
- Good communication - both written and verbal
- Should be self-motivated and good team player
- Daily/Weekly communication with the Client/TCS team regarding activities performed.
- Interaction with customer directly and demonstrate the completed tasks/updates.
- Regularly communicates client business needs and escalate concerns to managers.
